Aspen Canyon Ranch FAQ's
1. Do you have to be 21 + to stay at Aspen Canyon?
- Yes. You must be 21 + in the state of Colorado to recreationally purchase / consume cannabis. The ranch is 420 friendly, requiring all of our guests to be at least 21 years old.
2. Do you have to be a resident of Colorado to purchase marijuana?
Nope. Anyone over the age of 21 + is allowed to purchase marijuana from dispensaries as long as they have a valid form of ID.
3. Does ACR supply the cannabis for its guests?
Although we do not supply the marijuana, all guests lodging with us here at ACR will receive locals discounts at the dispensaries in Silverthorne, CO. ( Town closest to ranch )
4. Are activities included with the lodging packages?
No, but guests will receive 20 % off any activities they would like to partake in while lodging at Aspen Canyon.
5. What is the closest airport / best way to get to the ranch?
DIA ( Denver International Airport ) is 1 hour and 45 minutes from Aspen Canyon Ranch. The two best ways of getting to the ranch is either renting a car or setting up shuttle transportation. Some of the local shuttle services that will bring you from the airport to the mountains are Colorado Mountain Express, Peak 1 Express, Fresh Tracks Transportation, and High End Transportation.
6. What are the seasons like at ACR?
Summers are warm and comfortable during the day and gets a bit chilly at night, making for perfect sleeping weather. Winters consist of snow, snow, and more snow! If you do not like cold weather or snow, we recommend visiting us in the summer.
7. Are activities offered year round?
Different activities will be offered depending on the season. Summer activities include horseback riding, fly fishing, ATVing, rafting, and trap shooting. Winter activities include snow tubing, snowshoeing, ski shuttle transportation, dog sledding, and snowmobiling. Winter Activities will begin November 18 when we open back up for the season. Horseback Riding is closed until next summer.
8. What is your current pricing? Does it change with seasons?
This is the current pricing. Prices will remain the same throughout the 2016/2017 Winter / Summer Season. Specials will be ran periodically throughout that time.

River Cabin Unit for 2 - $299 / Night Additional Guests over 6 : $75 per person
River Cabin Unit for 3 - $374 / Night River House for up to 4 Guests : $599 / Night

9. What does the rate per night include?
Lodging pricing includes:
Food - Breakfast, optional soup / salad bar for lunch, 420 happy hour ( appetizers & socializing ) and dinner.
20 % off all activities on the ranch
Discounts at the three local dispensaries : Native Roots, High Country Healing, Alpenglow Botanicals .
Access to all ranch amenities
10. Will the ranch be closing ?
We will be closed from October 16 - November 17, 2016 and an additional three weeks after ski season for seasonal preparation.
11. Are you pet friendly?
Yes, we do allow two pets per room and charge a $25 cleaning fee per pet. Two dogs would cost $50.00 total for the entire stay.
12. Is there a convenience store nearby?
We are located 25 minutes from Silverthorne, CO where there is grocery stores, dispensaries, and everything else you might want for your stay. We do provide meals and snacks but recommend picking anything up in particular you might want.
Everyday is something different at Aspen Canyon Ranch. No horseback ride takes the same trail twice and the grand finale is the all day ride to Williams Peak, overlooking the Gore Mountain range. At 11,000 feet, the view from the top is unbelievable and you’ll wonder how anything could be so gorgeous. Also you’ll want to explore nearby attractions in Breckenridge, Vail, Winter Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. All are within a short drive from Aspen Canyon Ranch. With advanced notice, schedule other activities like mountain biking, hot air ballooning, or paragliding. Great service, western cuisine, and tons of activities await at our quiet little valley surrounded by majestic mountains.
